Ok here goes. This question is NOT for my Caucasian followers.
Since last night I have been trying to look up news sites specifically for the black community so that I can incorporate it with the mix of stuff I already do. I am asking this question because I believe we need to foster an environment first for discussion so I wish to do a small part in that if I can. I have 12 sites that were recommended on lists already from google search however I noticed an issue.

One is that the sites for the black community which were listed do not update as frequently with stories as other sites. Another is that I am not sure that stories about famous people really is something I feel will add to any real good discussion. So the question is:

What sites do you go to mainly(remember I do not want replies from my Caucasian followers please.)

@WhiteRose I check out theroot.com, thegrio.com, and reddit.com/r/BlackPeopleTwitter on occasion. However, there is black centric news/perspective on a lot of mainstream sites too; just have to be willing to dig a bit.

Edit: atlantablackstar.com gets aggregated into my news.yahoo.com feed too.

@netsjetsfan Alright, I have the root, the grio, and yes, for example nbc has a section for nbcblk it is called with articles related to the black community. I do however usually toot those stories already because they tend to fall into also the "latest" part of the site news. Thank you . I didn't however know about the reddit.❤️

Ps. I also have Atlantic tab ready to go. I am glad to see I am on the right track. Thank you Thank you so very much.

@WhiteRose no problem, good luck! lipstickalley.com/forums/ Is another. I think it’s geared more towards black women though.
