7-day Tropical Weather Outlook (TWO) from NHC coming 2023 season!
Currently outlook is 2-day & 5-day map/text of future possible tropical systems. The 5-day will change to 7-days.
In testing the 5 & 7 day outlooks have performed very closely, so becomes official in 2023!

invest #99L may have lost it's chance of being declared a tropical or subtropical entity, but still expected to become a powerful North Atlantic Low out at sea. 8Dec2022 #RealEarth™ (“99L” is a number given to areas being monitored for possible future tropical development potential. They’re numbered 90 to 99 then numbers repeat (so watch dates when looking up info). The “L” just means Atlantic basin (“A” is used for Arabian Sea region).

Saw you mention this site a few times, finally decided to check it out! Mainly into Hurricanes (thanks for those long loop radar imagery!) so may not interact on here much until next year. I do use the off season to go back over all the interesting topics I’ve seen/bookmarked to learn new things though!
As of Saturday 12Nov2022 the Atlantic and East/Central Pacific are now quiet after #Nicole’s passage. Hurricane season ends 30Nov.
As Tropical Depression #Nicole tracks near Atlanta, GA Friday morning, scattered rains continue to affect a large region of the Eastern US. Tornado potential mainly NE of center (yellow boxes = Watch).
