@WeatherSources If hurricane and typhoon are the same thing, just dependent on location, then does a hurricane becoming a typhoon mean it crossed some boundary into an area where it's called a typhoon?

@NoahPaulLeGies Correct, Dora has crossed the International Date Line so considered to be in the Western Pacific instead of Central Pacific waters.
