@XaoslordErie
You ignore them.
Arguing with fools brings you down on that level where they beat you with experience

Russian propagandists are still inventing ways to explain to their audiences why they are "fighting not against but against The West", but when the leader of The West came to Kyiv, not one attempt was made to fight him.

Just saw a co-worker quietly conversing with our lady janitor who, I was told by someone, was deaf.
I've been screaming 'GOOD MORNING!' in her face for two years, she must think I'm fucking bonkers

"What the Tom are doing?"
"Where the STEPHANIE is my sock?"
"What the Esteban Julio Ricardo Montoya De La Rosa Ramirez is wrong with her??"

Imagine trying to understand a movie instead of reacting to colors and sounds like a toddler

Meanwhile classifies all statistical data.

It is now illegal to publish statistics in Russia.

Several cities in are mourning today and honoring the innocent lives lost, and demanding an immediate end to the war of aggression against .

Let's see how long these islands of humanity hold until they are painted over and destroyed by local authorities

Head of Border Control department: "Our greatest need is for to die. Then we won't need no tanks, no shells, no air-defense ammo, nothing. We'll just live a peaceful life as a normal country with its normal country problems."

@ayankdownunder
I've cut off a couple of past friends this way.
We used to be close, the three of us, but then one left to live abroad and rarely came to visit.
One day he appears out of the blue with a big favor to ask.
When I was done doing the chore he'd put me to, he disappeared again.
I presumed he'd gone back to his new home country, appears, he did, but not before a bbq party at the 3rd friend's home, to which they "forgot" to invite me.

Oh well, buh-bye then, have a nice life.

@TubunMuzuru
Anyway, I was just at ease in a major way.
I shared these thoughts with friends in , and their response to this was "Don't underestimate . 70% of missiles coming in from the South are shot down by Romania, but we say it's our work. Romania will surely intercept planes from Russia and simply say it was Ukraine. We won't deny."

Hey, do you guys also have real life friends who never return messages or calls but suddenly show up when they need your help and then immediately stop returning messages for another two years?

I don't know if this Stalin tale is true, but knowing people I don't doubt for one second the chicken's behavior

@TubunMuzuru
.. But would Romania do the same?
What if Russia blatantly violates Romanian skies to get their warplanes into Moldova, will they "express concern" on the diplomatic level?
What would be the consequences for for violating NATO airspace? I really don't know. Forecasts would be meaningful had Russia been ruled by someone sane. But it's not.

They may just believe that NATO will simply hush it down.
Next: A quick conquest of and opening a Western front vs Ukraine.

@TubunMuzuru
If a coup is unsuccessful, they may try to capture the airport.
That would give sense to their incessant reports of "'s plans to attack Transnistria!" -- they hope to create a panic, get people to free to Moldova, overwhelm border control points and smuggle armed groups of militants into Moldova from Transnistria.

There remains a question of how to get war planes into Moldova, as it's ether over Romanian or Ukrainian skies. Ukraine will surely intercept all planes. But...

@TubunMuzuru

Moldova has been experiencing a series of anti-Government demonstrations led by pro-Russian parties and financed by Russia. If a coup is successful, then the new puppet regime will simply open all access to military. Local men will be conscripted along with men from Transnistria and sent to the frontlines with Russian troops following behind. This would open a Western front vs and solve a huge logistics problem by diverting large numbers of troops through it.

@TubunMuzuru
Here's why I think so:

- A Russian army is blocked in Moldova's Transnistria (has been for 25 years) which sits on a huge stockpile of weapons and ammo;
- Freeing up those troops, weapons and ammo is possible either by defeating Armed Forces in South of Ukraine and occupying lands adjacent to Transnistria, or by going through Moldova.
- Getting there through Ukraine looks quite impossible.
- Getting there through Moldova may be possible.

@TubunMuzuru
You asked me yesterday if I have any predictions on what Putin may do next.
I gave it a thought.

I think his main efforts will now involve .
will attempt to:

- overthrow the government to install a pro-Russian puppet regime;

and if that doesn't work

- seize the airport to deploy troops to overthrow the government and install a pro-Russian regime.

The ultimate goal would be to open the Western front by unblocking Russian troops in Transnistria along the way.

Today, February 24th, is MISTAKENLY considered to mark 1 year since the start of 's war of aggression against .

In fact, Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine began in 2014, when they seized Crimea and Donbas by force, with the use of regular army troops whose insignia were removed to masquerade as a "local uprising".

Today marks 1 year since Russia's long planned operation to conquer Kyiv in 3 days.
