@Daren you don't get the mod. The big change for One DnD is that it doesn't consume a bonus action to make the off-hand attack.

Do you add your Dex mod to your 2nd shortsword damage? (Assuming that’s 2 weapon wielding.)
I halfway through the 2nd D&D One PDF so not sure if that’s changed.
