In chill air of the early morning you watch the townsfolk begin their day, tending cattle and setting about chores. You stand in the brush at the north end of town, hidden from their sight. You'd ruin the day of anyone who saw you; they take your foxlike appearance as a bad omen, even as they know you stand between them and the dangers of the wilds. You turn to leave.

A twinge in your whiskers tells you something is wrong...

Is there a dice-rolling bot on ? Are there even bots?

Here's a first look at how the Cleric differs from the version. I think players will be pleased...

Oh hey, this is new: The Banishment spell incapacitates the creature while it is waiting to be returned to a plane it is related to.

The only epic boon that is restricted to the Priest group is the Boon of Truesight, which gives you 60 feet of truesight, which is the same as the boon under current rules. That feels a little light-weight to be capstone ability.

Clerics are in the "Priests" class group with paladins and druids. The level progression follows the same pattern as expert classes did: ASIs are replaced with the opportunity to take feats (one of which is an ASI, so not that different in actuality).

The last feat/ASI comes at level 19, and an epic boon is now taken at level 20.

We've got the Cleric with one subclass: life domain. We've also got revision to Ardlings, Dragonborn and Goliath.

The view from Ghost. She has tremorsense and this is how the latest version of Foundry VTT depicts here being able to sense through walls.

Alright, here is the character sheet for our character, Nowhere, the Teifling Ranger. Take a look, and we'll get started shortly
