@BrentSullivan
Good on ya for going.
@FireMonkey
Thanks, but when they ask if I can follow the judge's orders I'll answer, "not necessarily"
@BrentSullivan
Honesty is best. And remember - the jurist is not bound by other than their own decision. I forget what that's called the moment.
@FireMonkey
I once "ruined" a rather large jury pool.
When I answered "not necessarily", the prosecutor asked me to explain.
I said, "if I was on Rosa Park's jury and the judge said 'if she refused to give up her seat you must find her guilty', I hope I would refuse that order".
They released all of us
They were not happy
@BrentSullivan @FireMonkey I am always excused from jury duty. Tell em your only child was murdered and now the killer walks free on a plea bargain and your son is still dead. Excused...
@JLong @BrentSullivan @FireMonkey boot me? After my son dying, trey could put me in jail and I wouldn't care. I told the DA NEVER to say he defended my son's life. Dust under the rug.
I couldn't wait to get out of there and I told him so.
Boot them...
