I watch all shows/movies with captions on. I can tell when it's "auto" generated vs human. I notice some captions leave out "extra" words. Like in Gilmore Girls. The dialog is so fast pace, so many words, the captions don't keep up, or aren't verbatim. For GGs specifically, I feel like that's a loss for the viewer who NEEDS the captions, cause there is SO much in the dialog.

@Evereigh You are not rambling into the void. Some of us hear the call. As for me there are two issues why captions are necessary:
1. There are times when conversations are too low to hear over movie's background audio. Yeah, but full booms for explosions
2. There are actors that mumble or you just can't understand the English accent. Yes, I'm looking at certain United Kingdom accents...
