TBF we have not yet had the first day of a 2023 Republican-led congress. They haven gotten that far yet. Morons.
@Vanitas The House convened on 1/3. The first order of business is to elect a Speaker, which is necessary before they can transact other business. Ordinarily it's a formality. They're still working on it. The fact that 19 or 20 Republican Congressmen want to burn it all down, and are preventing the election of a Speaker, doesn't change that.
