Now the 2nd day in a row I’ve thought of posting about the economy and thought I’d offer a TL cleansing puppy photo instead.

Today I do that… Enjoy.

It’s a doozy, indeed. so much cool…cyclops headlight, rear exhaust, shape…

People sometimes get mad and leave bc they don’t like the posts they see.

Of course, there are a multitude of tools on CoSo to curate your experience.

And there’s also the option to post the kind of stuff you want to see. Maybe others will follow suit, maybe not. But you’re creating a fund of content that pleases you.

I do that. On hard days, I go back through my own media files just to see images that soothe me.

Women Who Defied Traditional Gender Roles

One lesser-known historical woman who defied traditional gender roles and changed history was Lady Hester Stanhope, a 19th-century British aristocrat, adventurer, and archaeologist. Born in 1776, Lady Hester was raised in a society that expected women to conform to strict domestic roles, particularly in the upper class.

I’ve said this dozens of times.

I’ll say it again.

We get the government we deserve.

This political ad was 'Paid for by guys who can still see their own dicks." and I approve this message.

Too many people, when hurt and disappointed by others, direct hostility at themselves.

If you have been wounded by another person, you deserve compassion and comfort, not self-hate.

It seems very obvious in writing but so many people struggle with this in their lives.

((Hugs)) for anyone in such a place of struggle lately.

Just ordered my 2 tickets to the tRump rally at MSG. Now I have to block all the bullshit emails and texts I'm going to get but totally worth it

So a large tornado showed up in Clewiston, Florida.

I didn't even think about that... Tornadoes could be spawned as the hurricane moves through..

What a crazy scenario.

I called my father again last night to beg him to evacuate, (he's in Lee County), but he said no. Since he was going to be alone, I asked him to tattoo his name and family contacts across his chest so they could easily identify his body. He laughed, I didn't. He agreed to think about leaving.

Early this morning he called to tell me he evacuated and is staying further inland at my sister's house. Relieved isn't a big enough word.

I hope others have done the same. 🙏
