Ahhh no! I’ve been there. Insomnia sucks. Happy to chat for a while to pass the time.
I am just getting up (8.30am here) and going to start the day with a run. Then take my boy to football ⚽️!

Ahhh in that case, move to wales, we’ve got pretty coastlines. And I promise you’ll never see the Sun! 😂 and it’s always raining!

My boy is 8 (also have a 10 yr old daughter - who I take to football tomorrow!)

i'm in 🇨🇦. moving back to the west coast. i've been in alberta (ie the conservative hell hole of 🇨🇦) for several years. time to go home.

Ah west coast Canada looks incredible. Don’t know much about Alberta except for the Battle of Alberta (oilers v flames?) and huge oil fields? (Correct me if I’m making all that up!)

you do know alberta. why!??!?! but yes, you got that right. the only province w/ 2 hockey teams. wait. not true. ontario has 2 as well but we don't talk about them. lol.

I’m a big hockey fan (NYrangers, sorry!) but almost no-one watches it in Wales, although we do have a team - Cardiff Devils. So that’s how I knew a little about Alberta!
I haven’t played rugby since Covid interrupted everything. And at 35 feel I should probably stop anyway! Plus I wasn’t particularly good! 😂
Who’s your hockey team then?

does the uk have a hockey league? or do the devils play in an eu league?
35 is young. after 40 is when the healing seems to take a fucking long time 😜
what positions do your kids play? the 10 yr old must have a position. the 8 yr old...they may not be there yet, right?

Oh and the first bit of hockey I saw was in an episode of Friends and they go watch the rangers!
Daughter is midfield, son is a roaming anything, like you said - no idea of position!! 😂
@VaKnow22 ha ha. that's funny. hockey is so ubiquitous here, i think we know it as babies. it just seeps into us. i couldn't tell you how old i was when i first saw a game on tv. but was young.
ah, the little guy will eventually get it. at this point, it's a bit of running around & having fun. positions smositions.
