@peeppeepcircus I hear you. Although it's probably important, to someone, to try and understand why people / nations do things. Personally, I feel like society spends far too much time trying to understand instead of holding people accountable for their actions.

With the deep sea cut cable incidents around Europe in the last few years, my understanding is that the countries affected had been finding out after the fact and were taken by surprise as a pattern started slowly to emerge. Whoever did it got away with it. A vulnerability indeed. It had started well before Russia had invaded Ukraine.
