Lake Superior State University in Michigan has released its annual list of words they say deserve to be "banished" from our vocabularies over "misuse, overuse and uselessness." Let's make it a point to use all of them liberally during 2023 so we annoy all the people who live a joyless life dictated by ridiculous lists.

@WaevetSmaevets We'd like to see the word "So" banished. Does anybody else notice how many people start every sentence or answer a question by saying "So..... blah, blah, blah." Are we the only people that's bothered or annoyed by this?

For years I never used the word "so" to start a sentence. But then an ex of mine started using it all the time and I started using it in conversation with them in hopes they would stop. 15 years later and we still haven't broken each other.
