One of the themes of Vice President Harris's early speeches (which eventually disappeared from the later ones), which I rather liked, was about making sure that people were taught true history.

We can now expect the opposite. I would not be surprised to see textbooks printed soon that teach that Trump won the 2020 election, but it was stolen from him by evil Ds, and that January 6 was a righteous uprising by patriots to protect the sanctity of elections.

No, I don’t have any sympathy for the pieces of shits that voted for him. We know what kind of person he was, yet you assholes still voted for him regardless.

When he drags the entire world into another world war, I don’t want to hear shit about how “You would have voted for Harris had you know he was going to be this terrible.”

You’ve made your choice, now live with it.

I think we’re under-estimating the proportion of his voter base that voted for him because they want an evil and cruel government. They’re not all easily-led simpletons, this was a calculated and intentional choice for millions. That is the harsh reality.

This election is not a bell signalling the end of the fight. It is just signalling the start of another round in that fight.

I'm as political as anyone, but I see absolutely no point in trying to do a post-mortem analysis of campaign strategy.

The problem is much deeper than campaign strategy; it has to do with what's in people's hearts. If a message of joy and compassion and respect and fraternal solidarity leaves them cold; if the majority of people who turn out have come for the circus and the carnage, then there's nothing strategy can do about that.

Today, for the first time in my life, I am doubting his very existence. I don't want to say that, I've always dreaded even thinking that. But today, I am losing my religion so to speak.
