A special tax on plastic bags, introduced by the previous government, has today been scrapped.

It's now up to stores to decide if they want to cut prices now that the three-kronor tax per carrier bag is gone.

Roland Hedlund, a supermarket owner in Knivsta, north of Stockholm, thinks people's behaviour will change now that the tax has been removed.
