Speaking as someone looking in sort of from the outside,it appears to me that there's a directed campaign to oust Biden and it's gaining a lot of traction.Whatever the reason,it's best,in my opinion to cut through the chaff and disregard it.I'm not a fan of his at all but ditching him this late in the game could have disastrous consequences in November and I don't think anyone wants to see the alternative.Dems simply have to put differences aside now and start pulling in the same direction.

I'm close to hoping that Biden does drop out, just so people can test their various blue-sky "theories" about how the world works.

I feel like they're going to be displeased with reality's failure to chuck them under their little chins, and tousle their curly locks.

I wonder if anyone can point at any national election in which the nominee dropped out four months before the vote, and the result was "increased enthusiasm" for whoever replaced them.

Because I don't believe such a thing has ever happened.
