Judge rules Youngkin administration can’t pull Virginia out of greenhouse gas agreement

After the Legislature voted down multiple Youngkin-backed bills to withdraw, the State Air Pollution Control Board — which has a majority of Youngkin appointees — voted 4-1 to exit the agreement. However, in a five-page decision Tuesday, Floyd County Circuit Court Judge Randall Lowe declared the action “unlawful, and thereby null and void.”

Truth isn't one side of a scale that has to be balanced out. Nobody ever got closer to the truth by having to compare it and contrast it with a lot of falsehoods or (more likely) one approved-of falsehood.

People who ask for "equal time" for their favorite lies are only one step away from outlawing telling the truth altogether. They appeal to fairness. What is really fair is letting everyone have access to the truth without having to hack their way through a jungle of lies.

Friendly reminder that everyone needs to wear sunscreen. This years derm check revealed another squamous cell above my left eyebrow. Fortunately a shave biopsy did the trick with it being in-situ.
