The cats wouldn’t let me sleep, so peanut butter waffles were inevitable.
Keeping my hands busy while watching the DNC. I bought a set of patterns for a Halloween blanket. It uses interlocking filet crochet, which was confusing at first, but quite fun once I got the knack.
Having enjoyed the Tiffany Aching books, I knew I would enjoy this book. What I didn’t expect was just how beautiful it is. The book is filled with Paul Kidby’s gorgeous illustrations. And, via notes in the margins from various characters, it has all the charm and humor of the original books. If you’re a Discworld fan, this belongs in your collection. ❤️
Very hazy today, but I still fit some jogging into my usual walk. My legs hate me. That’s okay though, because I hate them right back for being so short.
Went for a jog today, at which point my cervical spine said, “This is not your heartfelt Olympic story. Go home, dummy.” Luckily, today is good heating pad weather. 😁
At least I saw some #geese. ❤️
Good morning, CoSo. I had a rough night’s sleep, but the prisms are helping.
Rain is dying down, but it’s still a little gusty. I spotted some sunlight earlier, threw on a raincoat, grabbed my phone, and ran outside. It’s dim, but it’s there! It disappeared shortly thereafter.
