I re-started the birdsite to follow specific things. None of which I wanted to be political. I wanted nerdy, gaming, and pop culture things. I now find myself having to mute some of those things because the political posts make my blood boil. Sorry Mark Hamil but you need to be muted. It's not you, it's me.
@QEBrian Very true. The thing is, I know that the posts he retweets are from asshats. I don't need to see more proof. I also don't want to get that need to engage and argue with them or their nutty followers. It's like pissing into the wind.

@ThrasherPrime That's a relatively new development from him. I think we're all reaching a breaking point when it comes to spillover from hobbies/interests to the politics of it all, sad to say.
The politics has always been there. When it's not explicit, it's often reinforcing the status quo... but that doesn't mean it's not there.
