The goodest girl. MonyMony got all her shots at the vet today and was very brave.

You know that thing where you sign up for meeting and there is literally no structure at all, just some guy rambling about his life in a way that has no connection to the actual topic? Yeah. I’m leaving this half an hour early. Strategic marketing is what I signed up for. Like…should there not be a strategy somewhere??

My doggo knows when I’m stressed and insists on cuddle time for an hour or so while we watch the bird-feeder and just breathe. She’s very wise, my MonyMony.

Tonight, I’m making a huge stir fry for dinner, and it should give 1-2 leftover meals.

I also plan to make a batch of keto brownies in a muffin pan so we can freeze them and eat measured amounts and stay on our diet. In order to make them in the muffin pan, I turn the heat down to 325° F and then bake for 18 minutes in order to keep them from being burnt on the edges and wet in the middle.

In order to make my life easier and to make sure there are any meals on hand for mom if I’m away, I’m trying to do advance meal prep. Today, I spent an hour and a half chopping veggies so they’re ready for all this week’s meals. Hmm. This isn’t so surprising to me. I got rid of my home phone back in 2004.

I’M COVID FREE! Wahoo! Coming out of isolation at last.

MonyMony normally barks whenever Trump is on TV, but she’s more interested in sleeping today.

Anyone else wondering if #Trump saying all that stuff about NATO was a signal to Putin that he’d give up Alaska in exchange for Russian help getting him elected? And that Tucker Carlson went to “interview” Putin at that exact moment in order to negotiate the terms and get talking points?

Just me?

Since I’m bored in isolation, I did an at home test of my hearing using my iPhone and noise canceling headphones. My hearing is actually way above normal. However, one ear is stronger than the other, which is what I'm noticing. But I can stop worrying. Just because I'm used to having superhuman hearing and it's slightly less so on one side does not mean I need to do anything about it. I'm still a freak of nature.

Trump’s game plan seems to be:

Crime.
Whine when called out.
Crime moar.
Gaslight.
Crime bigly.
Ask rubes to pay legal bills.
Be loud and awful.
Threaten anyone who doesn't capitulate.
Crime again.
Make bank.

Repeat and repeat until everyone who opposes gets too exhausted to pay attention anymore.

So far, my symptoms are very very mild. All those shots are paying off, I hope. Still isolating from mom and both of us masking when I must go downstairs. Mom has zero symptoms so far, and hopefully it will stay that way. I’m not testing again today since I know there’s a delay between infection and detection. Treating it like it’s a certainty since I KNOW I was exposed for a long time at close quarters.
