A young couple moved here to this small town from the far south of India to attend graduate programs at the university here. They don’t know anyone and are so far from home, have no furniture and no car, mom and I gave them a couple of armchairs, a desk and rolling chair, some cookware and a rice cooker as well as some fresh veggies and fruit from our garden.
