I think I’ve reached the point at which I either need to dramatically reduce my creative output or unflinchingly accept that I will never achieve even the slightest measure of creative success.
@KarenSohne That’s a great question. While I’d love to be able to generate income with it, I’d settle for semi-significant recognition and a large audience.
@TheCard l've seen a lot of what l consider to be great art. Some was in museums, in books, at concert halls. some stuff in places where not more than a dozen or so folks would ever appreciate it. Great art isn’t determined by a price tag or if you can google it. Some of the most wonderful stuff never gets a big audience or wide recognition.
I guess the question is, are you ok with that? Would you still create without adulation?

What is your measure of creative success and does this measurement truly encompass what your art is?
