Can’t decide if becoming someone who buys lottery tickets is an indicator that I’ve become stupider or more optimistic, though my money’s on the first
@TheCard I buy them because I've lost all other hope of being able to accomplish much other than by sheer chance.
I think of it as paying a tax on dreams.
@TheCard If it’s less than 20/year for dreams, and your able to pay your bills, it’s still stupid, but understandable. I may go by 5 chances. At least if I win, I can up my monthly contribution to CoSo. 🤪
