From exactly 10 years ago. I think anyone who's seen Breaking Bad has probably been on both sides of this exchange.
@singlemaltgirl I was a latecomer to Breaking Bad and got tired of people recommending it to me… and then it became one of my all-time favorite shows. (I like Better Call Saul a little more, though.)
OMG, same exact situation. Except i didnt find it interesting or good. But i also don't watch tv because it's so fomulaic & predictable. I can predict how the episode ends in the first 5 min.
Guy broke up with me after the 3rd episode he insisted we watch together. I guessed the ending after 5min. From his reaction (he had already seen the episode) I realized he did me a favor.

@TheCard i did watch it. i came late to the game but at the time, the dude i was seeing was really into it. so i missed like the 1st season & a half.
he 💜 it. i was meh about it. it was okay. well written & bryan did an excellent job in it. just...not really my genre or something. i just didn't think it was that good.
personal taste i guess. 🙄
