I'm feeling extremely nostalgic for the Clerks animated series *and* extremely surprised by how infrequently I feel extremely nostalgic for the Clerks animated series.
@SentinelOfTruth Clerks 3 is actually what got me wanting to revisit the cartoon - possibly because the ending left me so sad. It's a shame that none of the attempts to revive this show have panned out, because it's probably my favorite Kevin Smith project.
@TheCard There was something earnest about the cartoon. It wasn't saddled with much of the expeditions of a kind sequel, but like a side story that was a throwaway.
I just got done watching Clerks 3 and the cartoon was sitting on the shelf when I went to put 3 away.
