So yesterday the IT department enthusiastically sent a message that Microsoft Teams can help me achieve better audio in Teams meetings!!!!!!
!
!
!
Woo-hoo! So how are they gonna do that?
?
?
?
In essence...they want my voice print. They want to store my voice print having me read text that they provide so that I can have better audio.
Wha?
Well...they want to filter the recorded audio so that they can "correct" my part of the recording.
Um...
No. Nope. Nada. The AI summary is bad enough.

FWIW, the company used to use Zoom, then MickeySoft made them an offer they could not refuse. I ended up purchasing my own Zoom license and was using Fathom for AI summaries long before Teams offered their "pack a lunch, loser, we are going AI'ing" brand of AI summary.
It's like if they offered to make your car safer by getting a copy of your keys and letting you ride in the car while they drive it and maybe they'd take you where you wanted to go in the first place.
