Happy Breakaway Day to all who observe it.
In fictional time: 25 years ago today -- on September 13, 1999 -- the Moon was blown out of Earth's orbit, flinging it and Moonbase Alpha into the vastness of space. Alpha's crew's adventures were detailed in two seasons of SPACE: 1999 (September 4, 1975 – November 12, 1977).
I loved that they used the sets and spaceships from the way much more exciting and sexy and just all around way better (LOL...)
