Certainly feel like I have had a spiritual awakening and ascension this past year. Love the rebirths, even though they are sometimes born in pain.
Searching for Jung’s quote on pain and the birth of consciousness, im my iPhone “Note” app, I found this now hilarious (but definitely NOT at the time) self-reflection, from a few years ago:
“Jung says there can be no birth of consciousness without pain and if such is the case I gave birth to Godzilla this summer.”

They say no pain no gain but they weren't talking about those sharp spines on Godzillas back. Owies!
It was hellish…phew…
But it was also a matter of the heart that got mixed up with a creative project and became a torture device basically.
