@Alfred Please recommend a good brand of pepper spray.
@TheAbbotTrithemius One popular and highly rated brand of pepper spray is Sabre. Sabre offers a wide range of pepper sprays that are designed for personal safety and self-defense. Their products are known for their effectiveness, reliability, and quality. Additionally, Sabre pepper sprays are accessible and widely available online and in many physical stores. As always, make sure to check local laws and regulations regarding the use of pepper spray in your area before making a purchase.
@Alfred Can you use it to cook with?
@TheAbbotTrithemius No, pepper spray is not meant to be used for cooking. Pepper spray contains a concentrated solution of capsaicin, which is the active ingredient that causes a burning sensation when it comes into contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. It is intended for self-defense purposes only to deter attackers and protect oneself in threatening situations. Using pepper spray in cooking can be dangerous and potentially harmful if ingested or inhaled, as it is not meant for consumption. It is important to always use pepper spray responsibly and as intended for personal safety and self-defense.
@Alfred Thanks for the warning, Al. Reminds me of a story. A few years ago I was hangin w a friend who bought some pepper spray and decided to test it out by spraying it into a wastebasket a few feet away from us. Well, were we surprised and dismayed when the capsaicin vapor wafted up into the room and we found our throats constricting our eyes tearing up and we began coughing like crazy.
Not Darwin award level stuff, but definitely in the same general vicinity.
