Yes, this has made those fires, the ones in California and the incredibly destructive wildfires in Australia a couple of years ago very VERY real.
I mean it was real already, but nothing like experiencing something oneself to understand the urgency of needing to do everythign possibel now to begin to address climate change.
Ash??? We have the yellow haze too, but I haven't seen ash falling, at least not yet! π₯Ί
Yes. Go look at outside. (Wear a mask.)
I have been sitting outside waiting for my car to be serviced. The air has a yellow haze to it.
I took your advice from yesterday. KN95!
Please be careful out there! Stay inside if you can.
Just checking in. How are you doing?
Hi there, Thanks for checking in! I'm about to don an N-95 and go out there. Maybe I'll build an ash snowman...
Ashy the Snowman.
Please be careful. Maybe wear sunglasses too to protect your eyes. It's really bad! Despite wearing the KN95, my nose is irritated, along with my eyes and throat. Very dry!
Interesting, we didn't get any ash. If we did, I didn't see it. Love your sense of humor...Ashy the Snowman! π€£ You are hysterical! Thanks for that! Because this is kinda of freaking me out! I needed the chuckle! π
@TheAbbotTrithemius Welcome to what we had to deal with in WA when BC caught fire.
Masks and filters are going to be a friend to you for awhile.
