@LostTheCoinToss Huge relief. TY. I used to be really up on this stuff,but have gotten out date, so thought with all the techies on CoSo I would get some good feedback. He deserves it, he's been working on a 5yr old Dell (that was $400 new) LOL! Amazed the thing works!

@TempestFugit It's that RTX3080 that's the biggest difference. Beats anything I have at home.
@kel Oh good to hear. I am planning ahead a bit here, I think he's going to be doing alot of 3D modelling and I tend to prefer gaming setups for graphics, they tend to work well. IMHO (but it's been a while).

RTX3080 is mid-range for ray tracing, so yeah. Should serve him very well.
