@Flexi Seriously. When I was little I at least tried jumping off the couch with a bath towel cape before trying to Mary Poppins off the house.

@Qbae That looks like a pretty snazzy sauna tbh

Ferris Bueller was seriously convinced that driving backwards would take mileage off a car.

@ketchup9080 EMBRACE.The buddy system works.

I always try before I buy whenever possible, with software that's seldom possible. Out of everything I "try" I only end up liking maybe 1/4 of it at most.

@mcfate I sure haven't.

Though really I'd love to seed if I had the means, but alas.

My internet issues have me convinced that in a past life I was someone who never seeded their torrents.

@Thumprhare I do the T first and go from there, then finagle it back in through the other side after knotting between all the beads. That's usually one of the harder parts of the process.

@Thumprhare @Flexi Thank you! My fingertips are screaming. 😅

I use the T-drilled guru beads, fortunately this time the bead I used had perfectly-sized holes. I've gotten a few with small holes that were nigh impossible to thread with the paracord.

I've made a few catholic rosaries after finding some cool cross pendants on the ground. They were much easier.

I put a feather on all the malas/rosaries I make.

@Flexi Everything went smooth until I realized I messed up at the very end and forgot to add the bead above the tassel, spent probably an hour trying to squeeze it back on but it worked out better than if I'd done it right the first time.

It's perfect and I'm gonna keep it forever.❤️

@Flexi that's really nice! Three of the beads I used on mine I had to import from the UK, the larger ones. I've been working all day remaking my personal mala, start to finish it took about 10 hours. The pendant on it is a bead that has the ashes of my dog worked into it.

@Flexi That one's really pretty, I like the tassel! What kind of beads are those? I always go with 108 beads, I don't think I've seen one with 99.

@Flexi Yee~, I've made a good handful of malas, it's quite a process. I use real gemstones and nano paracord instead of silk, they're very good quality. Built to last.

Over a year of being on a sub 128/kbps internet connection. A testament to my patience, forged in the crucible of the 90's.

@Beanc Rolled my eyes so hard I threw my back out, lol

@Beanc So stupid. People out here just deciding to make their own currencies. Pff

I made a thing that made a friend really happy and it's a great feeling.

@WhoopassGirl I feel like sharing would establish yourself as being worth more alive than dead in a survival situation. I mean at that point it's well beyond being about the food and the scope of selfishness and more about the moralities of a kill-or-be-killed situation.

Regardless of motive however, if you know for certain that someone is going to try to kill you, the best move would be to kill them first. Which I could never do, I'd for sure get murdered
