Hey, knowledgeable computer people. I see that Costco will have this available over Black Friday, and I would appreciate feedback.
My current laptop bogs down with complex Finale compositions. I'm looking for something that can handle that and other similar applications.
I am unfamiliar with the MSI brand, also.
Please let me know your experience/what you think.

@damselfly59 @Tail It has the combo of the most GB with a terrabyte of SSD, and the most advanced processor of any advertised recently.
Computers have really gone up in price with all the supply chain issues.
Here are the rest of the likely features in the one currently offered (but configuration still under way for the Black Friday one).
@BlueStateBabe I'd say the processor is overkill. Mine the 8th gen version and I don't even come close to bottlenecking it. But yeah the supply issues are showing. It's absolutely a safe buy if you like the price and size of it.
@BlueStateBabe The SSD upgrade alone necessitates a new laptop and that's likely where a lot of your issues are if it's a few years old. That and the RAM are the biggest improvements. Processors these days are a lot more powerful than many people need them to be and I'd wager that you'd do just as fine on an i5 with an SSD and RAM upgrade.

@Tail I currently have an i7 8th gen, 12 GB RAM and 1 terrabyte (not SSD). This is the system that bogs done when running an orchestrated composition.
