After much agonizing and a pep talk I find myself in a position where I am forced to swallow my pride and ask for a little help.
After my wife had emergency surgery two weeks ago we have not had any income coming in. Her employer fouled up her record of employment and Employment Insurance has told her it could be another 3 weeks before she receives any benefits.
I am now out of my depression and anxiety meds and will be until her EI gets straightened out. 1/2

We can go to the foodbank on Wednesday but that only gives us a few days worth of food. So I am at the point where I must humble myself and ask for a bit of help. Believe me when I say this is a hard ask for me. But if we could scrape together a bit of money for my meds and food we would be forever grateful. My meds cost around 95 dollars (There are two that I take). 50 to 60 dollars would help us get some food that we can spread out over a few more days.
