@Priestess Yep. It's whenever she chooses. Her legs, her choice.
@BenA We've talked a few times about moving into the foothills or futher in the Cascades as well. Biggest sticking point for now is our current school district is pretty good, and a concern about how far is good without overly raising the wildfire risk during the summer.
@th3j35t3r Huh. Wonder if it was a Russian or Iranian troll farm?
Or an actual MAGA cultist. :P
Wonderful. Just received a warning from one of our identity protection providers that my info was included in the National Public Data breach. Not that THEY'VE reached out to notify me at all, smdh.
At least I submitted freeze requests when the news first broke a couple weeks ago. And because my coffee hasn't kicked in and I was cranky, sent an email off and inquired about joining the class action suit. *sigh*
@Maude Yuck. Enjoying my (almost) 9 am coffee with my sweatshirt on, looking out at the light drizzle. Weather Channel says it's mid-50's right now, with a high of 58 today.
@mcfate But some deleted their tweets (or is it sharts on this new Xitter thing, I'm still confused)! I guess they equate that with the "thoughts and prayers" they like to send after a mass shooting. 😩
@Kittiekatt53 @Superstitionsee @carmen I think the key part is “restoration of civil rights.” Those aren’t suspended until sentencing, but I’m not a lawyer so my opinion is likely worth little. Plus, Florida being Florida… they’d probably bend over backwards to restore them early for their cult leader.
@Beanc as long as it's not touching/bumping that junction box and none of the wires have cracked/missing insulation, looks fine to me.
If anyone is looking to freeze their credit reports after this weeks social security breach news, you can sign up for free accounts and get it done quickly online.
Be aware that Equifax is the absolute worst of the three (shocker, I know). The others will let you opt out of marketing/partner emails during the sign-up process. For Equifax, after you freeze your credit file, make sure to go back into Account Management and opt out of all the promo emails and "privacy sharing" at the bottom.
Now that she's finished watching whatever season of "House of the Dragon" (I refuse, because F George R.R. Martin until he finally finishes the damn series), our daughter is preparing for the remainder of the election cycle by finally watching the entire Game of Thrones series.
Not sure if I should be proud, or alarmed. :D
@kel I'm also curious how many "real" American's actually want him to drop out. I'm talking about the average citizen, not politicians who take money from corporate entities that have ties to various media entities... like Comcast's NBC properties.
I think there's a good chance this is being pushed hard by the media, because they're even dumber than the MAGA cultists and think it'll be business as usual, even if Mango Mussolini wins.
This week's cover of the New Yorker. What are we going to do about it? #VoteBlue2024 #VoteBlueEveryElection #BidenHarris2024 #DownTicket #ExpandTheCourt
@PatrickKay I’m “toning it down” by making passport appointments for the kids. After the past week, it’s time to get serious about our exit plan from this dumpster fire of a country.
I like alternative/hard rock & just about anything except country. Interested in books & gaming.
