@Nimthiriel Depending on the motherboard manufacturer, it might have defaulted to onboard video. If there's a video output on the motherboard, try plugging it in there and see if you get a picture. If that's the issue, it's usually a setting buried in the bios, where you can change the default video option.

We have to turn off the internet until we can figure this out. Seriously. No. Seriously.

Incredibly, included in this giant index of U.S. Internet customer emails were the internal messages for every current and former employee of U.S. Internet (USI).

KrebsOnSecurity forwarded one of (USI CEO) Mr. Carter’s own recent emails to him, along with a request to understand how exactly the company managed to screw things up so spectacularly.

@just3nanalysis You got off easy. 😉

I broke a toe playing Dance Central with our (then) tween daughters.

But I still got the high score for that Tay-tay song, by gosh!! 😂

TFW you stay up too late playing Skull and Bones, and realize it’s now Wednesday.

Happy Valentine’s Day (and Ash Wednesday to those who observe it), ‘Nauts!

Now I’m going to bed, lol. 🥱

@FrankCannon Love this! Wish I could get those for our daughters, lol!

The backstory being, one is graduating with her undergraduate degree in psychology and the other is contemplating journalism. 😂

@voltronic I don't have it, so take everything I say with a grain of salt.
At this point, I'm having trouble connecting anything positive to Amazon. After having record profits last quarter (maybe 2 quarters ago), they laid off 500+ Twitch employees and implemented ads for Prime Video subscribers... unless you pay an additional $2.99 fee for "ad-free" service. Oh, and they also removed Dolby Atmos & Vision support, unless you paid for the "premium, ad-free" experience. So I'd pass on it.

I'm so done with C-N-freakin'-N.

Remember folks, when they tell you who they are, believe them.

- please take your personal (and work) online security and identity seriously. Unique, complex passwords or passphrases, MFA/2FA and for the nerds - zero-trust framework. You "may not care" if anyone sees your email, but I promise, you are bleeding WAY MORE identifiable (meta)data than you realize - don't make it easy for hackers. <END>

@th3j35t3r Problem is, a good chunk of the court *cough* Alito *cough* Thomas *cough* Kavanaugh, thinks their "job" is protecting the interests of the wealthy purseholders that are pulling their strings. Well, maybe not Alito - he's just an asshole.

SCOTUS: "But if we rule this way what will we do about all the other States?"

USA: "Ummm... your job?"

"Falsus in uno" will be under serious consideration for any pets or other entities that might need naming in the near future. 😉

OMFG the new update for Outlook Mobile on iOS is soooooo freaking bad!!! Seems like they broke/severely degraded their IMAP interaction with GMail. It’s taking anywhere from 30 minutes to more than 4 HOURS for email that’s showing on my desktop to show up on my phone. Been like this since Friday evening- tried resetting accounts, uninstalling and reinstalling, still no luck. From recent App Store reviews, seems I’m not the only one. Oh, and it now serves ads for non-M365 subscribers. 🤬🤬🤬

This. We've been on the wait list for the local NFL team season tickets for over a decade. Last year we talked it over and while we're still on the list for now - there's a good chance we'd pass if offered the chance to purchase seat licenses.
Instead, we got two season tickets to the local WNBA team. Went to a few games last year and the experience was wonderful every time. The only area where football was even remotely equal, was in food menus / variety.

The payroll tax that funds Social Security does not apply to income above $160,000. So Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk, the richest men on Earth, contribute just as much as your neighborhood dentist. But not a penny more.

We must have a Federal wealth tax, it would save SS, and actually raise the money needed to fund Universal health care

@WeThePeople Agreed. However, it will likely never happen... since the majority of Congress are A) millionaires, and B) are wholly owned by their corporate-sponsored PACs and/or lobbyists.

@th3j35t3r I mean you could… but it would probably involve shooting all the unhappy people… /s

And I guess THEY wouldn’t be pleased. Never mind!
