@DarksideStraxus And they'll use both (password sharing and the strike) as an excuse to jack prices up again. So we're right back to where we were with the whole cable mess.
@DarksideStraxus ...just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean you SHOULD do it...
I believe this is exhibits A thru D.
Well, shit. Love Gibson’s books, and enjoyed season 1.
Still support the writers - hopefully it gets picked up down the line.
@sazemisery oh, those aren’t lines.
They’re a map of a life well lived, with room for even more adventures. 😉
@sazemisery even Keith Richards (79) is looking better than ol’ Mitch “Yertle the Turtle” McConnell!!
@Render Ya know, I wonder if he’s doing it to make sure that the advertising he keeps putting on pro-Nazi accounts gets seen by more users…?
#OffTopicFriday - OMFG - I dare ya to not shit your pants laughing at all of this people:

@Cmnslivn ...is changing his depends a job requirement? :P
I think the crazy one from AZ might need to get added to the list, too.
@LlamaMountainStudioArts Nice work, congrats!
@Astraea_Apate @kel Oh, there's tons of shit they can do on their downtime - college classes, MWR trips, outdoor activities unique to where they're stationed, and on-and-on.
Doesn't mean that they will take advantage of those opportunities. Like many others their age, some are only interested in playing or streaming video games, social media, or seeing how many beers they can pound before 8pm. (And I'd be lying if I said I didn't do my share of that at their age, lol)
@kel @Astraea_Apate
There's.... far more variables to it than simply placing the blame on military leadership. As for training - there already isn't enough time to accomplish all of the "mandatory" training dictated by policy/regulation. Commanders are forced to choose what's most important for their unit for a given period, and the rest typically gets pushed until later in the training cycle, or when an incident occurs.
@kel @Astraea_Apate There was a big concern in the services, going back more than 10 years or so.
The problem is, service members are recruited from the population at large, and the U.S. as a whole is absolutely horrible on privacy/security education for the bulk of the population. Much like any other issue, the main "goal" of politicians (on both sides) seems to be to maintain the status quo (and their power), vs. actually improving the lives of citizens.
@GrumpyWolf Yuck!! We're only at 92 and it feels like an oven! Got our walk in early, and InstaCart brought more ice to refill the coolers so the kiddos have cold drinks to relax with. Might venture out in a bit to see if any of the flowers need a folding table for a some shade.
@Ch3fchr1sto Hope it's an easy path to walk, or that you're at least over it quickly! Looks like I'll be heading in for an updated eval after talking to the nice VA lady that called about the PACT thingy.
@WhatMattAirs That's a DOJ practice, don't think it would impact the Georgia case at all. And if he IS convicted, a Republican Governor can't pardon him under GA law.
