@A_Jay_Adler aka, "Yet another reason to leave this dumpster-fire of a country behind and move someplace sane(r)."
@Synical @A_Jay_Adler
Where is sane-land anymore?
@FireMonkey @A_Jay_Adler
The list starts with "Countries that largely believe in gun control," and moves on to "Places that TFG isn't welcome."
Snark aside and off the top of my head, the Scandinavian region and New Zealand are becoming more enticing by the day. Ireland to an extent, but that's because of ancestry/personal feelings more than anything else.
Ecuador, Belize, Costa Rica, Colombia; Medellin, Bogota, Cartagena interest me -- and others over the years - but political things shift quickly sometimes.
@FireMonkey @Synical They do shift, as here. Good friend has been living very well - still is - in Ecuador for a dozen years, but the political situation there has taken a bad turn over the past year. You can't expect perfection, though. In my case, if I eliminated from consideration every country with a history of antisemitism - some of my favorites - I'd have nowhere to go.
@Synical Word.
