House Republicans managed to shoot themselves while playing with their weapon. Now they're arguing over whether or not they should seek medical attention as they slowly bleed out.

To use a metaphor even Republicans can understand.

In Iowa yesterday, Trump described America's flag officers as "some of the dumbest people I've ever met.”

I suppose "dumb" is better than the "suckers" and "losers" he previously called the lower ranks.

Those in positions of power who claim only they can solve the problem when they have abjectly failed to do so for DECADES, should be trusted least of all.

The outrage isn't that Kevin McCarthy was removed as Speaker of the House

It's that he was ever allowed to hold the job in the first place.

Remember, the same Republicans who are right now ousting their own Speaker are the very same folks who tried to hang their own Vice President.

I mean, look at what they do to their own. Imagine what they'll do to YOU.

And the House passes a 45-day stopgap spending bill at the last second.

Despite their bluster, dick-waggling, and their bald-faced lies about who was responsible, Republicans knew EXACTLY who America would blame for shutting down the country again.

When it came down to the wire, predictably, they punted it to the Senate with nine hours to go.

These people couldn't govern a salad fight in a junior high school cafeteria.
