Since the guy running Twitter is talking about the voice of the people being the voice of God and all, seems like it might a good time to remind America of this:
Trump: 62,984,828
Clinton: 65,858,514
@Stonekettle Where were all the other voters though? That only adds up to just under 129 million votes. The population of the US is 335 million.
The population in 2016 was 323 million. That population included approximately 74 million under the age of 18. It, also, included incarcerated and institutionalized citizens, the severely disabled/special needs, legal residents, as well as undocumented residents. None if them are eligible to vote.
But, to your point, not everyone who was eligible to vote did so.
@Stonekettle the guy running Twitter may be unbalanced
@Stonekettle I’m far more concerned about the unbridled power of wealth in America. It’s power has grown constantly for 40 years regardless of which party has been in power.
The Democrats are better, but “we will do the minimum & we aren’t as horrible as the GOP” won’t save democracy at this point
@Stonekettle Yep. Sounds good to me!
@Stonekettle nice to see you back in the house Sir
@Stonekettle Glad ur here, Stoney!❤️
@Stonekettle What is it with right wing nut cases and the need to cherry pick only words they like ?
"Do not listen to those who say the voice of the people is the voice of God, since the tumult of the crowd is always close to madness."
In Melon Husks case it surpassed madness long ago.
@Stonekettle
Great to see you here, chief!
