Think of the craziest idea you can possibly think of and then make it happen. This sounds like a game you would play with friends back in elementary school, but it's actually how the US government is going to run things under Trump. The crazier the better, the more shit can be disturbed, the better.

Tried to help my sister set up a telescope today. Nobody had told me that setting up a telescope was just about the hardest thing I’d ever have to do in my life.
What was supposed to be a night of Auroras was a night of seeing everyone else seeing auroras while being stuck under a cloudcover that appeared to be stuck in place. Then found out my cousin had a massive stroke and is in the hospital. Not the pre-weekend I was hoping for.
Looks like I could get a cloudcover break between 9-10pm. Fingers crossed because this is one helluva storm. It's pulsating between KP4 and KP8 with the bz as low as -25 nT from what i've seen at times. Solar wind still hovering around 700 km/s.
Still hard to tell how far south these auroras will reach but if you are lucky enough to have clear skies tonight, look up, you might be in for a show.
