@nblumengarten I'm sure that you're right but you know as much as me but it's just bad optics that will be used by the Republicans to justify that what Trump did wasn't wrong because Biden did it too. It's fuel they didn't. But I agree, under a microscope, probably very different situations.
I agree with you and had a similar reaction when I first saw the news. I'm sure there'll be committee meetings as nauseam about this.

It's looking more like a mistake than purposely hiding documents and obstructing when the DOJ went looking. One in which as soon as they were found, the proper people were notified and the documents turned over.
If I'm understanding correctly it's the difference between reporting to payroll you've been receiving more money than you should due to an accounting error and embezzling funds and cooking the books to hide it.
