"Delicious in Dungeon" on Netflix is one of the best anime I've seen in ages.

The voice cast is great, but I have to shout out to Damien Haas who takes the character of Laois, who could have been generic (and indeed is kind of a parody of generic fighters) and really gave him humanity.

As per previous statements on climate change, I DO think humans will survive UNLESS climate change leads us to nuclear/biological war.

But we're basically going to be hitting pause for centuries. Hopefully we use the time to get better and learn from what we did to ourselves.

Well, its not hopefully. It's our job to make sure it happens.

I authentically believe humans can reach the planets and even the stars. But that's a choice.

Man with MailChimp's new mailing plan I'm thinking of changes. I was going to move my blog posts to also be a newsletter and it may be easier to set it up myself.

We're making futures based on old media and limited dreams, but maybe we need to see futurism as a skill. stevensavage.com/blog/2024/06/

Still enjoying how, in a world of sexy anime elf tropes, Delicious in Dungeon gives us the frumpy academic fussbag we deserve.

I'd like to note that Republicans piling on to defend Trump from any form of legal investigation would look quite bad if, say, some sensational new charges dropped.

Like you know, anything that might be in certain records connected to Jeffrey Epstein. Or David Pecker.

You know, if people were holding something back waiting for Republicans to go even further in on Trump.

Thoughts on my next creative steps and how the urge and the form need each other. stevensavage.com/blog/2024/06/

Jim Jordan wants to be the GOP Speaker of the House. With his background. It's like he wants things to be easier for Democrats.

A challenge to create a manifesto left me blank - and getting a uniqiue chance to catch myself in a creative transition - stevensavage.com/blog/2024/05/

The Venn Diagram of "guys angry over the woman-choses-bear meme" and "guys who would ban abortion" is surprisingly close to a circle.

I live in a time where it seems everything is history in the making, but only because people didn't learn from history.

A quick note from your Agilist/PM friend here.

Success as in "making stuff and having real results that people want" is critical to you know, ACCOMPLISHING THINGS.

It's about "who wants it, what do they want, how do we deliver, how do we measure." Sometimes you don't even do it as it's not worth it.

That gets forgotten in a world of marketing hype. It's also why I respect the heck out of good Product Owners, who are a mix of translators, diplomats, artists, and psychics.

I find it much easier to understand politics when you compare it to Hollywood. It's less and less about anything and more and more about endless marketing, promotionals, tie-ins, and the next thing.

What is real, solid, gets lost or ignored. When it does show up it's quite stunning to people.
