I've started taking CERT disaster preparedness training so I can do more for my community. Going to say even an hour in and it's eye-opening.
Ever think about the trees near your house?
Or who coordinates with NGOs trying to help without stepping on each other's toes?
You mean we shouldn't let every helpful person with a helicopter start buzzing around a hurricane disaster area trying to find a place to land? Trump was complaining that FEMA wouldn't let them do it.

My brother took that training a few years ago in Oregon, he was really glad he did! I've been meaning to ask him about it again, I might do it myself here in Colorado.
