Ted Giola states our society has a crisis of unseriousness. I not only agree, but argue it's fused with our bullshit-ridden economy of irresponsibility to create a toxic, unsustainable, blend.

It's true, but CoSo at least isn't Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, or Facebook, and while there is definitely silliness and frivolity, and more chasing after memes and cool videos that I would like, it's by far the most serious social media site I know. CoSoNauts think and talk with intention and to express meaning, not merely to impress someone else or hear their own wind.
