One thing I think missed in rising covid numbers is that is probably a good indicator of the possible transmission of other respiratory diseases. So even if it was less of a threat, it's still a sign to be the hell careful.

Yep. It is why I still wear a mask in public. And I am fully vaccinated for flu, covid and RSV.
If I look like a dork, so be it🤷♀️😏
@MallyDaKatt my plan pretty much is to always mask up during a disease surge and at large events. Though the upcoming new vaccines sound very promising.
Whats weird is think how even without covid we just ignored this stuff?

My DIL had Covid same time as I did. I relapsed into second covid case. She is on week two of unnamed respiratory illness going around. Per her doc yesterday.
