Three of my hypnopompic diary poems are now live at Reap Thrill. My thanks to the editor, Jannat Alam. I discovered Reap Thrill when it published two excellent poems by Lewis LaCook, which I would recommend checking out as well. #poetry
And if you're interested in seeing/hearing it performed live, there's a video of me doing just that on my YouTube channel.

In case an 850-song playlist is a bit too much, here's my playlist of the top 60 songs of 2023. #music
"defenestrated from my sleep window"

Here's the playlist I spent the year assembling from all the new songs I heard that I liked. My 2022 playlist had about 550 songs on it; my 2023 playlist has over 850.
Every year during the week between Christmas and New Years, my family has a themed film festival. This year each of us chose 2 films that we personally consider "classics". Kite chose "Mega Mind" and "But I'm a Cheerleader!" Donovan picked "Monster Hunter" and "The Big Lebowski" and Leigh went with "Blade Runner" (Ridley Scott's) and "Being John Malkovich". My choices are "Head" (The Monkees' middle-finger response to the cancellation of their TV show) and "Big Trouble in Little China".
