@SteveCarll67 We flipped from Republican Governor Pat McCrory to Democratic Governor Roy Cooper over this. The NC GOP completely misjudged the will of the voters, the businesses, the sports leagues, and the tourism industry.

@cassandra17lina The article spends a fair amount of time going over the aftermath of the GOP pushing that bill through in NC. Incredibly (or perhaps not) when given the choice between backing off bigotry when it becomes a political loser or doubling down on it, they usually choose to double down.
