I think Season 2, and especially Hegenomy showcase how un battle tested Pike is. He was forced to sit out the Klingon War, and now he doesn't know what to do in a major conflict like was set up in the finale.

Can we talk about how Ortegas' contribution to the musical was basically "My name is Erica Ortegas and I fly the ship"?

This week's episode situated between the Lower Decks crossover and the musical was a smart decision

Head-canon: Ferengi doors are shorter than they are because of labor costs and the cheapness of cutting corners

After countless rewatches it's dawned on me that it's a Bajoran station. Why doesn't it have a Bajoran name? Starfleet & the Federation are only there(at the start) to help with administration duties. It feels awfully colonialistic.

Thus begins the best arc in
In retrospect it would have been neat to see Sisko take Nog under his wing and give him some Wesley Crusher style preparation for the Academy

How long do you think it took Sisko to convince T'Rul to let him cloak and pull up on DS9 to surprise them in The Search?

Who deserves the nickname "Perfect Hair" more?
James T. Kirk(Kelvinverse)↙️

Good lord, give it up people! The low budget of TOS is not coming back in love action. CBS and Paramount don't want their shows to look like some bargin bin basement production
"Wah, SNW doesn't look like TOS" you sound like petulant children, if you don't like it don't watch it

I wish some of the featurettes from were included on the blu-ray, but the features included were fun looks behind the scenes

I just feel that the lasting legacy of will be one of missed opportunities

It has a seemingly meandering plot (complete with a trip through a wealthy setting) and seems to disregard a lot of established lore
Season 3 seems to written in such a way that addresses fan concerns from season 1&2 and seems to be only for the purists among us.
Bringing back as many of the "original" cast as possible and making them as close to the last time we saw them as possible.I hope season 3 is amazing. I want season 3 to be amazing.

Let me start by saying : I enjoy
It has a myriad of flaws that I can wave away because I love the character of
I think a lot of it's problems are the same as the problems with
The first one was pulled together through nostalgia and love of an idea/character without any forethought into it's own future
The second one was a departure from the regular formula and focused more on new characters
