@writergrrrl29 Thank you ☺️
@writergrrrl29 I really don't have much skill to speak of, I'm brand new to photography, I think it's the camera I splurged on 🤣
I just go outside and sit like a statue and wait. Look up the Nikon P1000, it's got zoom from hell. Alot of these pics I post everyday are of birds that looked like specks with the naked eye. It helps to be able to be so far away and still snap pics, because they're less jittery.
@writergrrrl29 Love your profile picture. That was my tattoo and then I broke my arm and it got ruined
@StephanieResists I sort of like the way it looks with the scar. I always think tattoos are amazing when they've been 'lived in' for a while.
@writergrrrl29 Thanks ☺️
I'm afraid of what's it's going to look like when it's all said and done, because the plate and screws they put in are not right (dragging against the tendons as I use my hand) and they want to remove them, my arm has never healed fully, but I have put them off because of Covid since it's not a life-or-death scenario. I'm working with about 40% of my dominate hands use 😢
@StephanieResists Oh, that sounds horrid! It might not be 'life or death', but it sure is impacting your quality of life. My sister had the same issue with a plate and screws in her ankle. As soon as she had them removed, things got so much easier and better for her. I understand your reluctance, though!
@writergrrrl29 I guess I just figured I could deal with it until the pandemic was up because the arm won't kill me or cause me lifelong health problems, unlike the pandemic. It won't progressively get worse; I just have to be careful and not tear the tendons or ligaments. I had no idea the pandemic was going to last this long.
@StephanieResists Wish I had your skills. We've got all sorts of birds hitting our feeders (and a few eating the ones who eat off the feeders), but I have zero ability with a camera
